My name is Bailey Evans and I hope you enjoy my first blog.
Christmas, what’s that all about?, you humans eat so much then complain you have indigestion, what ever that is, stick to Pero food I say! Right let me tell you a bit about me. Bailey Evans, Bulgarian born but now an adopted patriotic Welsh Dog. I’m a long term foster with The Little Brown Dog Rescue because my microchip failed when I came over with my sibling to Calais, then had to stay by myself in quarantine for 6 months where I was given another rabies vaccination. I’ve not been the same since then. My Foster Dad says I’m everything in a box and more (whatever that means). Two extremes with no middle ground a bit like your typical teenagers!
My Foster Dad is awesome, he takes me places near and far in our camper van. I’m also the official Little Brown Dog Rescue Buddy as I’ve helped three other rescue dogs settle into a foster home environment before being adopted into their forever homes.
There’s been Belle a little staff, Spot the Border Collie and now we are fostering Katie. She’s a petite cross breed (don’t tell her but she looks like a mini German Shepherd with bat ears!) She’s nice, really clean indoors and in the car and eats all her Pero biscuits and licks the bowl clean. But when she’s out she gets really scared and jumps and twirls about on her lead. She won’t tell me about her previous life, I guess she wasn’t looked after properly. She needs some one to love her like my Foster Dad loves me!
Without humans like my foster Dad, many rescue dogs wouldn’t get the chance to experience a home environment and get sad and stressed in noisy and scary kennels
Hope you all had a good Christmas and New Year, I did because I got to go on a family holiday. I got some treats and toys too they were donated to the rescue by some very kind humans. Nearly forgot to say, Betty the cat has been reserved for adoption!
Woof for now
