Hello Everyone
What a month, well we had the Rescue Fundraiser afternoon at Pen-y-ffordd Community Hall where £600 was raised. Lots of people and dogs attended too and it was officially opened by Mark Isherwood (Flintshire Welsh AM). Thank you to everyone (photo above).
Last time I told you about the shortage of cat and dog fosterers we had…well its just got less! Ruby the little shitzu has been adopted by her foster family and now has a vast range of dog jumpers as well. Truly landed on all four little paws.
Smudge the tabby cat has also been adopted. Smudge’s foster mum said he was the most affectionate, sit on your lap kind of cat she’s had so far. Good luck Smudge
Back to ME!…I’ve been feeling much better on my change of biscuits to the Pero sensitive ones. My Dad says he’s noticed a difference in me as well. I also had a visit from a Dog Behaviourist (Adam from K999) for over two hours. Where he showed my Dad new techniques and suggestions, which have already made an improvement in me. Slowly but surely does it!
So May, is going to be all about Cats…
A BIG push to re-home all the rather lovely adults cats that are still looking for their ‘furever’ homes
Mr Cole – a rather large gentleman who loves his food, a sitting spot in the window and outdoor space
Mr Ben – shy to start with but a lovely affectionate guy (can be re-homed with Mr Cole or separate)
Timmy – an ideal indoor cat (especially as you have no garden) as he is allergic to harvest mites from outside
Dede – a stunning tortoiseshell lady who would prefer a quieter home (RESERVED)
All our cats are neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped, wormed and de-flea before adoption.
Woof for now, sniffing to do…
